Exciting "face to face" workshops return!
Our fabulous live "face to face" workshops are returning. Its been a rocky road (scuse the pun) over the past twelve months. Not really knowing when we can return to offering our fun, creative, practical workshops again. It feels like a lifetime waiting to get back to it. Over this challenging period, we have been working behind the scenes though, baking for the community, a local deli and moving online with zoom workshops. In line with government guidelines and with social distancing measures, we are now able to offer a variety of sessions ranging from beginner bread through to bagels, focaccia, indian breads, pretzels, sweet dough, french pastry, gluten free to mysterious sourdough workshops. Some have already started at The Farm Stratford and pleased to say we are back at Okens Kitchen, Warwick in late May.
As well as returning to some of our favourite kitchens, new collaborations have been born and i'm excited to share that Liz and I will be back with Wild Fermentary Workshops teaching about the benefits of eating fermented foods and offering practical hands on classes in a brand new space at FarmED, based in the Cotswolds. A new education centre set in the beautiful rural countryside with a wonderful emphasis on land management, sustainable food production through their kitchen garden, with a brand new dairy farm, wild running chickens and events space. Perfect for our workshops! More recently I have been invited to be Harriets final online zoom guest speaker at the popular Harriets Healthy Living Supper club. Sharing my own real food story and recipe from my debut baking book Time for Bread. Which is due to be published in May.
